Designed to the highest standard from the award winning Lutra Design Group, with structural engineering by SP Systems (now Gurit) and built by V1 Advanced Composite Technologies in Dubai.

First selected by Spanish America’s Cup teams, the V1 Lutra 30 was the preferred match race, training boats for two cycles of the America’s Cup in Valencia.  

Selected because of the boat's stiffness and performance characteristics, using advanced composite infusion with epoxy E-glass in female molds and with a high modulus 12.45metre carbon fiber Hall Spars mast. 

The boats also feature diesel inboard engines and are readily trailer-able.

Longer than virtually all other HP30 compliant boats, with a powerful carbon mast and a displacement of just 1,850kgs this boat has great potential.

The boat has been owned by a professional sailing school for the last nine years, with little use. . 

To fit HP30 Class the boats will need the addition of a center-line fixed bowsprit.
